So I have an established routine when I log in to play. I'm a creature of habit when it comes to these things. First thing to do is begin caring for my horses. I like to to get this out of the way. I may have to log-out sooner than planned, or it might be so late by the time I am done that I won't have the oomph left to care for them all. I would hate to forget to feed and water them. I don't spend star coins for stable care though I will when I go on vacation. So the game day starts with me clearing all those pesky yellow icons out from under my horses' names. Gotta keep those smiley faces good and green.
Once I'm done, and it doesn't really take that long to get this all done, I get my current trainee and off we go. It's home base chores and races first, as I'm already right there. Home base for me is Moorland and I love their daily races. It's a good warm-up session.
From Moorland, I usually head to Fort Pinta and take care of business there. Once I'm done taking names and cleaning box stalls, I have a choice to make. I can either swing south and west, working my way through South Hoof to Epona. Then I can take the road north to Jarlaheim, hitting all the races in between, and then up to Cape West via the ferry. After that, it's over to the manor, Marley's place, then Steve's Farm, and then up to Valedale and Firgrove to complete the circuit. I tend to forgo using transports if I can help it; I'm out to make money not spend it after all.
Or, I can leave Fort Pinta and ride up to Firgrove first. I sometimes find if I do it the other way, I don't reach Firgrove and Valedale. I don't need to work on my reputations with either place as they're maxed, and all I really want is the money and the experience from races for my horse. Getting to Hillcrest and to Cape West each day is a goal though, as both places offer more coin for chores than average. I should be working on the Druid circle stuff, but I've found the second tier of dailies with them rather annoying. So I have been slacking. But I'll get back to it soon, along with the quest stuff.
So, that's my routine. Do you have one?
