Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read this thread,
I'm presently in Frost Valley and I've played SSO for a couple years in spotty intervals, going from being active everyday to once a month and then back to daily again. It goes off and on.
The reason why might be because I've been always alone, save for a very short experience with a random club invite which left me pretty uncomfortable, leading me to refusing any other careless club joining.
I'd still, however, really like to have a group and a place to call home, but I have a few requirements that might not make just any club a good choice.
- I'm seeking mainly roleplay oriented clubs, as that's my main activity in general in any videogame;
- I'm on the older side of age, and male. For both of these reasons I do not feel comfortable joining a club's discord. I am aware of the stigma that follows older players on SSO and even moreso males, so I'd prefer to cut the problem to the root and not share a social network account with any minor in the game, so their parents won't have to worry. I can spend hours and hours reiterating that online dating isn't in my interests, but that won't stop people from making assumptions just knowing I'm a guy or not a teenager, and though I'm not a parent I can totally understand why.
Overall I think it's not a stretch to describe myself as an introverted, shy but good-natured fellow who just wants to pretend to be a horse from time to time. If anyone thinks they know the server or club that could take me in, please drop a response.
I'd very much appreciate if replies to this post didn't steer away from the title. I don't want this to become a thread discussing men or adults playing the game or any disgusting behavior related to roleplay. I'm not here for that so I hope you won't be either.
The tl:dr is that I'm looking for a Club with the following aspects met:
- Accepts 18+ age players
- RP-focused
- Accepts male players
- Does not require discord
- Does not practice mature content roleplay
