network error?

for the network error they did respond but it seem pretty fishy to do what they told me to do, i just uninstalled the game and reinstalled it hoping it will work better since it's the answer we mostly give to other user when they have problem it seem like the best thing to do... but here is their answer to the problem.

If you are having a network error, this is most probably due to the firewall which is blocking our network port, and as such, blocking access to SSO servers. You will need to disable the firewall when playing star stable.

Try also clearing the proxy settings that might be present in your web browser.

what do you guys think about this taking the firewall off for the game? isin't the firewall supposed to protect your computer?
