Do you wish to be a star rider, but can't afford it? Bored of your basic membership? Read along with me as I tell you how to get the most out of being a non-star rider!
I was there too! Many others were, as well. Do not think you are the only one who cannot afford a membership, or that you are going to be forever stuck in Moorland. There are many opportunities that you may be missing out on.
Take advantage of in-game chores
Sure, they may seem like a waste of time but you can rack up Jorvik Shillings quick! You can use your shillings to get decent tack for your beloved Jorvik Warmblood, or some cool clothes! These chores are daily, much like if you were to do chores in real life, so they are a very routine to do.
Daily races are you and your horse's bonding moments!
A healthy Druid needs to be very attached to their Jorvik Warmblood, right? Might as well train him to become the best there ever was! There are four races you can take every day, which can rack up horse exp and get your horse to a very high level. When I wasn't a star rider, I trained my Jorvik Warmblood, Dogtear, to level 11 (when there didn't have to be level equality between horse and rider, I was just at level 5, in the beginning). Jorvik Warmbloods are fast horses when you bring out their potential, a nice way to get around too.
Free stuff codes, woo!
Even if it's just a code for 50 SC or a sweater, you should be grateful. Free codes don't come out very often, but when they do...USE them immediately. For our convenience, our admin has a thread just for redeem codes! (Warning: Staff here are not the same as the actual Star Stable company, therefore they cannot alter your account or make more codes.) Star Rider weekend codes are also a great thing to use, maybe to get a taste of the good life.
Shoot for that Lifetime!
Strive to get your paws on that lifetime membership, even though it is the most expensive option... you'll get more bang for your buck. I actually bought my lifetime membership while it was on sale, for 25% off. It was a great deal. Watch the official site for news regarding discounts or any type of sale/giveaway.
Be patient
Finally, just be patient and respectful. Nobody likes when someone complains that they aren't a star rider, or when they try to make a big fuss out of it. Don't threaten others to hack their account, or ruin their reputation. In the end, it makes you look like a spoiled brat. AND, as a star rider you should not make fun of others that do not have a full membership. This also makes you look like a spoiled brat, so tread carefully and be THANKFUL.
Get those Gold Stars!
Though they seem useless, it's really fun to get those gold stars. There are (I think) seven gold stars in Moorland alone. I love finding gold stars, even though I think some places should have them and others not.
You'll get there, I promise.
Happy trails,
Willow Deerblanket
