<+> Greendale Horses Herd <+>
Hello! If you are looking for a club, here is one! If you read the title, you've probably figured out that the Riding Club is named Greendale Horses Herd. Our info is below. Interested? Read on!
The name of the Riding Club is Greendale Horses Herd. We are called this because we were originally a wild roleplay club, but I soon decided after a few drama outbursts due to wanting to role from the members that I should start brand-new with a good old-fashioned team club. It grew steadily. After our first day, we had grown by twelve members, but the previous members left due to the change of club focus. With our twelve members, we set out on the journey that made our club what it is today.
It was made about two and a half months ago, perhaps three. Sometime in August, for sure, when I had some more time for managing the new club and keeping it from shattering like some newer clubs do. With long hours of advertising and waiting, finally, more people joined, and we grew steadily into the nearly-full club we are now. However, the amount of members doesn't really matter. As I once told my friend who owns her own club, 'It's not about how many members you have. It's about the fun they have together. You could have 100,000,000,000 members, and they could all hate each other. Your club would fall to pieces. Or you could have two members, and they could be best friends, and your club would (hopefully) succeed.'
Despite a few small drama outbursts, we've gone without major drama for a while. I, for one, hate drama in clubs, and although I know that no one can control drama, when I was searching for a club on my level twenty account, I was also looking for a leader who was capable of handling this drama. Even if I happened to be in a club with drama, as long as the leader handled it well, I wouldn't really mind. I try to keep this club as drama-free as possible, and even if someone creates drama, I try to be as fair as I can and give them several warnings and a rank-lower before they are removed.
With that said, I'll go into more detail about what we actually do as a club. We aren't lazy couch potatoes that never say a word in the club chat and never do the scheduled events. No, no, no. We do every event that we can make it to, and usually, that's every one or almost every one. When an event is completed, a stamp, 'EVENT COMPLETE' is put over the details of the event in the calendar. Every week, on Monday, I update the calendar. Most of the time, a trail ride is on one of the days, but not always, as well as a BBQ and picnic in the woodland scenery. Sometimes, we have parties at the beach or the disco, but we have at least one training or championship day per week, added as a suggestion by Sanna Starrock.
We also have teams to make us unique. The four teams are Cross Country, Dressage, Jumping and Western. There's also a secret team called the Mustang-Only Freestyle, though it isn't really secret. We like to think of it that way. Anyway, every team has one leader and anyone can join a team. In fact, you can join every team! You don't need to come to practices, but it is appreciated. Cross Country mainly focuses on jumping over natural obstacles, sometimes wooden ones. They're commonly found practicing the championship course at Moorland, creating courses through the Highlands, booking it through Greendale Forest and much more!
In the jumping team, they obviously practice jumping and jumping technique. They are mainly found at the riding hall. Western does pole bending and barrel racing, but practices sharp turns and how to actually complete the pole bending apocalypse race!
Lastly, the dressage team. The intent of this team is pretty clear. They do dressage, sometimes at Moorland, sometimes the Riding Hall, and other times somewhere else completely random, but any moves that you do not know will be shown to you.
Our rules are known within the club. We have a few listed on the rules page, but the team lists take up so much room I need to tell some of them! Mostly, it's the norm: No swearing, be respectful, please try not to argue or start drama, etc. If you'd like more information on the rules of our club, please mail me in the game or ask me questions below in the comments ^-^
Tack and clothes are not required!
Lastly, we have nicknames, but since there's no room in the info or rules we just say them when someone new joins. I cannot remember them all, but here are the few that I know:
Me: Jewel
April Deerland: Gummy bear, Gummy
Zoe Windheart: Zo, Windy
Berta Waterheart: Grim Reaper, Bee, Betra, Water
Maggie Swordborn: Mags, Sword
Paulina Southfield: A, South
Dina Bravebridge: A, South
Sanna Starrock: Ark, Arkanium
Kamilla Younghome: Young
Emily Turtlerider: Em, Turtle
Eleanor Graynest: Gray
Andrea Greenstar: Green
Aitana Softgale: Softy, Soft
Brooklyn Firesteel: Fire, Steel, Brooke
Isabel Moonpie: Moo
Scarlett Gladebear: Frosty, Glade
And because I'm just sad at remembering stuff, that's it ^-^
We have members that total somewhere in the forties. Any other questions? Ask em' below!
