Hello everyone~ I decided to make this thread as a showcase for horses. Do you have a new arrival at your stable? Or is there a horse you're particularly attached to? Tell me about it, show me pictures, or do both!
If you want to add a bit of creativity to it, add a description of their personality, or tell me how you got to acquire that horse. What's their story? What are your plans for them? Do they have any funny quirks? Let me know! Go crazy with it, it doesn't have to be realistic. Does your horse like cheesebugers? Neat!
Let me start this~

Let me start this~
My Jorvik Warmblood, Acewish
Acewish is my teacher. I met this gelding when I got into horse riding, at my riding school when I was still just a young teenager. He was already two years older than me at the time. My riding trainer thought it a good idea to have an experienced horse help me learn the ropes with riding. Having dealt with many other green riders before, Acewish was extremely patient with me. Dynamic and confident, he'd never shy away from the opportunity to strike up an interaction with anyone. However, he could still be somewhat impulsive and quick-tempered when the mood struck him.
Eventually, Acewish got a bit too old to keep up with the busy schedule of a school horse. When the veterinarian recommended an early retirement for a more tranquil life of walks along trails and light exercise, I immediately jumped up at the chance and pestered the hell out of my parents to let me buy him. Knowing well my obsession with Acewish, and persuaded by my riding trainer who thought it a good idea for my very first own horse to be one with experience that wouldn't let me spoil it into bad behaviors, they finally gave in and accepted to make a deal to purchase him. Acewish became then my very first horse, and I haven't regretted owning him since~.
Today Acewish is the oldest horse in my stable, but he still preserves his brilliant personality, giving off an aura of 'old veteran' in the small herd he shares the pasture with. Even the boldest stallions won't mess with him!
