After getting to know our members' server countries, I thought a poll like this might be interesting as well
Hope I didn't forget anything major.
You can tick all the languages you are able to communicate in, make sure to comment how fluent you are in each! Don't forget your mothertongue

I'm a huge language nerd. I'm a native speaker of German, born and raised here. I have been learning English since 5th grade, so... *counting* for around 16 years now. I'm in my last semester of uni, doing a double-major degree, one subject being English Studies. My fiancé is from Finland and we talk English to each other as well.
I learned French at school for almost 10 years, I can still understand pretty complex texts rather well - but speaking is... meh.
During my apprenticeship, I also learned (business) Spanish, but only for 2-3 years, so it's really anything but impressive haha
I have taught myself to read Korean (Hangul) and I understand very basic sentences - for some reason I am pretty good at reading Hangul (maybe because I am exposed to them more often?). Which is weird, because I had one semester of Japanese at uni, learned from scratch, and I have already forgotten most of the Hiragana letters lol. I can understand spoken Japanese fairly better though, might be due to excessive anime binge-watching
Last year, I was at a Polish summer school for two weeks and got a LOT of Polish beaten into my brain xD I forgot most by now, but I can understand easy texts.
As mentioned, my fiancé is from Finland, so I know some expressions and words, and I can form very basic sentences - but I am very bad at it. It's so different than anything else. ~_~ One part of his family is Chinese. I can only say "hello" and "thank you" to them, so I will certainly not tick this box XD
I love languages and I find it such a pity that one loses the ability to speak them sooo easily because of not using them regularly...
I would really like to become fluent in Finnish, Korean and Chinese T_T As I get older, I really notice how it becomes harder to learn them!
